It features interviews with the co-founders of Empire Avenue and prominent members of Empire Avenue.
The interview series culminated in the production of a Short Film called Stories from the Avenue.
Of significant note is the use of YouTube Annotations that link the Short Film to select Full Interviews. This technique allows for the creation of a menu system on YouTube that brings together a complete collection of videos. The use of annotations is a growing tactic within the development of YouTube-based campaigns.
Some nights, you decide to try something to prove to yourself you can do it. Other nights, you decide to try something to see what kind of problems you will run into. On both nights, the outcome is the same, you attempt the new so that you can learn something new.
In this test video you can see the end result of a multi-slide keynote which is then mapped onto an iMovie project.
Why is this so important? Keynote has amazing object transition effects as well as slide transition effects right out of the box. By creating an alpha animation in keynote, you can bypass the limitations of the title options available in iMovie and create some pretty amazing videos.
What to see the real end result of this work? Stay tuned.
UPDATE: This is a good reference to achieve the above. Although I do it slightly different, this technique works. http://www.sondette.com/public/blog/?p=402
